The Barclays Bike System, better known as Boris Bikes is a cheap, easy to use way of cycling around London.
For only a pound you can easily see all the major London sites – just keep your journey to under 30 minutes and you will only be charged the £1 access fee.
Although London is a large city it is quite compact in that most places are less than a 30 minute cycle ride away.
Docking station are plentiful and the bikes are mostly well maintained and easy to ride even for novices and lapsed cyclist!
